Geography: Tristar Athletes Northeast
Fun facts: …Brad races Skimo in the winter and uses it to build his arsenal of fitness. Brad is one of our elite tristars with a personal record at the Ironman distance of 9hours and 50minutes. He trains locally with other Tristar Athletes in the Northeast, especially for key longer hard bike sessions to gain strength in the base and build phases. ….Brad, has one of the highest sweat rates we have seen and it is not uncommon to have to build and ark beneath his trainer for intense indoor trainer sessions!
Bio, goals and races, tactics: Upcoming race Ironman Mont Tremblant, last year he raced this event as well and will be looking to move up the field having deepened his base for this season.
Brad recently upgraded his bike this season and is more capable. (Makes a lot of us have bike envy ; )
Uses a combination of heart rate based training and pace + power to dial in his race-day approach.
Trains with a Wahoo Kicrk/Zwift setup to maximize his training time.
Extremely technical; Brad knows how to apply the data and numbers on raceday. Often times his launch coordinates can include multiple pacing guidelines given his sophisticated approach.
Big smile. You would be surprised how well that serves an athlete in training and life! Ear to ear grinning and often times it can be seen not only in training but racing. ; )
ELITE team member.
