Best 30 day movement challenge and streaks

For over 20 years Tristar Athletes has been the go to place for coaching, health, fitness and nutrition. We challenge you during the year to participate in as many 30 day streaks as you like, where you attempt to wrack up as many movement miles (points) as possible. Movement is more fulfilling when its done for a good cause and thats why you are also able to earn points by raising money for your favorite charity, where one dollar is one point.

Answers to commonly asked questions about this challenge

  • Here is what you need to get started.

    1. You will need to be actively enrolled or register for one of our three programs at Tristar, our ELITE, MENTORSHIP or WELLNESS teams.

    2. A tracking device that can record your movement miles in your training peaks account. (Garmin, apple watch, iPhone app etc etc).

    3. Self reporting: Update the leader board during your streak with the miles you have accumulated and optional total dollars raised for charity.

  • The 30 day challenge is a movement streak and requires that you do something each day to earn points.

    • The minimum movement goal is 1 mile or 2,250 steps in a day.

    • There is no daily maximum in terms of miles.

    • If you miss a day, your streak is over and you can start again at any point during the year, as many times as you want.

    • 1mile = 1point and 1$ = 1 point.

    • Tristar Athletes hosts regular themed monthly streaks for you to stay motivated in the way you move. (For example, yoga, walking, running, strength, cycling etc.)

    • You can request to have your coach add the challenge to your Training Peaks plan.

  • While raising money for charity is not required, it is a way for you to give back to your favorite cause, add points to your total and make the challenge more dynamic. This way the challenge is not only about who can do the most miles but also make the biggest impact!

    You can update your funds raised at anytime in the form document during the entire year.

  • Your movement can start at any point during the year and we are tracking your best 30 days of activity. Any funds you raise for charity during the calendar year will be included towards your total points. Last day to start the challenge would be 12/31

  • Top placement awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place over the year. Prizes will be awarded January 30th of the following year.

  • The move challenge is open to all teams to participate for the win! *Point verification will be from your personal Training Peaks account.
