Oceanside Virtual Camp details

Welcome to Virtual Camp! VC runs from Thursday to Sunday and is designed to bring together the team for training opportunities from the comfort of your own training pain caves! No need to travel… just show up on zoom!

How it works;

  • Thursday 12 noon PST kick off call to see other Tristars and coaches who will be attending camp and learn about the weekend and schedule of events.

  • All VC events are posted on our team calendar which can be found from the TristarAthletes.com home page upper right hand corner which takes you to the events page.

  • All start times and dates are local to PST.

  • How do I participate? All bike sessions and coaching Q&A will be held on a zoom room call. We will be leaving the zoom room open for you to meet up with coaches and athletes from different time zones.

  • What time do we start? The suggested time frames are windows for you to do the posted workout sessions in your training peaks plans. (everyone will be doing the same session calibrated to their ability and goals) Athletes will not be all starting at the same time but rather trying to complete the session within the open time slot on the calendar when the zoom rooms are open.

  • How do I zoom? You can access the zoom room here and setup your phone or computer so we can all see you riding! Please mute your microphone if you have background noise or are not needing to communicate. Huffing and puffing is a ok! …just not into the hot microphone ; )

  • During your rides we encourage you to talk, chat with other team members. We will also be featuring motivational video at the same time.

  • Coaching presentations; After your training sessions each day we have coaching Q&A planned for you. There is plenty of time for you to be able to shower up and come back to the same zoom room before we begin.

  • Have fun. This is a chance to work together as a team, build strength and relationships with your fellow Tristar Athletes from afar.

  • Can I run and zoom? Yes! Provided you have a treadmill and can get your camera setup, go for it.
